Powered by HammerTech Intelligence (HTI), Hammertech users can now upload Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and HTI will automatically fill in key fields from the document
Submitting SDS
- Select the Project from the Project Dropdown.
- From the left-hand menu, go to SDS > Create New.
- In the Datasheet section, click on the Choose File button to upload the PDF from your file explorer.
Note: Only PDF Files can be uploaded into HammerTech Intelligence in the SDS Module.

Select Accept & Continue to let HTI to auto-fill the SDS fields. If you choose Discard, you’ll continue manually without any data extraction.
- Once completed, the following fields will be auto-filled from HTI:
- Manufacturer
- Product Name
- Comments
- Issue Date
- Expiry Date. Note: This will default to 5 years from the Issue Date found on the submitted document.

Important: HammerTech Intelligence gives you a head start, but you should still review and confirm the details. Final responsibility rests with the user submitting their Safety Data Sheet.
- Fill in any outstanding Hazard Fields, including:
- Employer
- Unique Formula ID
- Hazard Classification

Click Create.
Note: At any point you wish to discontinue the SDS process using HTI, you can tick off the box stating I want to Create an SDS Manually without using any data from my file upload.
